When designing a home big or small, we ensure that all details are incorporated and that your home is both functional and beautiful. 

 

Initial Consultation:

In our first meeting, we will have an in-depth discussion of the areas you want to design. The aim is to get a thorough understanding of your lifestyle, needs, and goals for improving your space. We will also review some of your inspiration photos to get a sense of your personal taste and style. Finally, we will review the contract together to ensure we’re on the same page. Once the paperwork is taken care of, we’ll get started with taking measurements on-site and taking the first real steps to transforming your dream home. 

 

Concepts:

After taking our on-site measurements, we will get to the drawing board. This is where the fun begins: incorporating your ideas with our vision to create a curated design tailored to your unique personality and needs. We will work on the construction drawing package, source furniture, materials and lighting, create rendered elevations, and present it all to you in our next meeting.

 

Presentation Meeting:

Here’s where we will get a chance to present all of our ideas to you, with the goal of ensuring you are as excited about the design as we are. We will review floor plans, elevations of feature walls, furniture and materials selection and all design elements in the project, and you’ll have a chance to share what you love, what you don’t and what you’d like us to tweak.  

 

Construction Drawings:

The construction drawing package is the design outline for the project. We ensure this package is detailed and thorough so that the contractors and trades can have the necessary instructions to implement the design seamlessly.

• Demolition plan

• Construction plan

• Furniture plan

• Reflected ceiling plan and lighting layout

• Electrical plan

• Materials and finishes plan

• Elevations

• Construction details and sections

• Custom cabinetry and millwork drawings 

 

Project Coordination:

Once the design is approved, we will get the wheels in motion to start bringing the project to life. This phase of the project will involve coordination with the contractor and various trades, ordering of furniture and accessories, on-site visits as required, and follow-up calls and meetings to ensure all aspects of the design are implemented. The final step in the project? Wowing you with the completed design.

Reveal Day:

Once the construction and installation of finishes, cabinetry, and lighting, is completed, we schedule a reveal day where we install all of the furniture, artwork and accessories. We make sure that no corner is left untouched, we create beautiful vignettes tailored to your style and ensure your built ins are "shelfie" worthy. Get ready to pour the bubbly and celebrate the hard work we accomplished together of creating your dream home.
